- Make a backup save before entering Sweatshop and check your sword inventory immediately after entry.
- Accumulate the resources required by the forced-labor opening and do not waste mandatory Rupee encounters.
- Escape while recovering freedom and equipment, complete the Ghost Ship sequence, and defeat Stalmaster.
Detailed walkthrough notes
Sweatshop has been associated with several inventory and progression bugs.
Known Sword Bug
The Nail Sword / Biggoron's Sword can potentially become inaccessible during this sequence.
Check your inventory immediately after entering Sweatshop.
If an important sword suddenly becomes unavailable, you may have encountered the known bug rather than missed a puzzle.
Beginning the Sweatshop
Link is placed into forced labor.
The beginning of the dungeon differs from normal Zelda dungeon progression.
You will initially need to operate within the restrictions imposed by the area.
Accumulate the resources required to continue.
Rupee Softlock Warning
A known troublesome room contains a:
Floormaster
It is associated with collecting required Rupees.
Players have reported becoming stuck after reaching approximately:
95 Rupees
because an enemy failed to respawn.
Recommendation
Do not casually leave or fail encounters that award mandatory Sweatshop Rupees.
Save frequently.
Escape
Continue through Sweatshop until you begin recovering freedom and equipment.
Search carefully.

Sword Bug Workaround
If the Biggoron's/Nail Sword becomes unusable, community reports suggest that obtaining or purchasing the Nail Knife after completing the dungeon can sometimes restore access.
This may interfere with certain challenge conditions, so use the workaround only if necessary.
