Midnight Cyan

First four Triforce fragments

Dungeons 1–4

Follow each route in order to collect the Bow, upgraded boomerang, Raft, and Stepladder, with supported shortcuts kept clearly optional.

Level 1 · The Eagle

Entrance from start: right 1, up 4, then cross the bridge left and enter the tree.

  1. Go west and defeat three Keese for a key. Return east, continue east, and take the key from the Stalfos. Return left, go north twice, and defeat five Stalfos for another key.
  2. The east room holds the optional Compass. Return two rooms west, defeat six Keese, unlock north, clear three Gels, push the center block, then return and go east for the Dungeon Map.
  3. Continue north through the Stalfos and Goriya key rooms. Unlock west, evade the Blade Traps, push the left block, descend, clear the Keese, and take the Bow.
  4. Return to the Map room, unlock east, defeat the Goriyas for the Boomerang, then continue through the Wallmasters, collect the key, and unlock the boss door.

Boss: Aquamentus is vulnerable only at the head. Dodge its beams or block them with the Magical Shield, then use sword beams, close sword attacks, or bombs. Take the Heart Container and first fragment.

Level 2 · The Moon

Entrance from start: right 4, up 2, right 2, up 1, left 1, up 1.

  1. Go north, defeat five Ropes, go west, and defeat six more for a key. Return to the entrance, take the east path, collect the next key, go north, avoid the Ropes, and unlock east.
  2. Take the Compass. If stocked, bomb north to save a key; otherwise return west and continue north. After the Red Goriyas, unlock east and collect the Dungeon Map. Its north wall offers another optional bomb shortcut.
  3. Defeat five Ropes for a key, go east, and defeat the Blue Goriyas for the Magical Boomerang. Bomb north or take the supported longer route west and north.
  4. Defeat Moldorm for a key. Continue through the Blade Traps and Keese for bombs, then bomb north or backtrack. Clear eight Ropes and the five Red Goriyas before Dodongo.

Boss: swords do not damage Dodongo. Place a bomb in its path so it swallows it; two swallowed bombs win. Take the Heart Container and second fragment.

Level 3 · The Manji

Entrance from start: up 1, left 4, down 1, right 1.

  1. Go west for a key, then north and defeat five Zols for another. Continue north and attack Darknuts from the side or rear; the east bomb wall is a boss shortcut, but postpone it until after collecting the Raft.
  2. Go west for the Compass, unlock west, defeat five Darknuts, move through the next room to the stairs, clear the Keese below, and collect the Raft.
  3. Return upstairs, go north, east twice, then north. Defeat three Zols for a key. The northern hint branch is optional; unlock east for the Dungeon Map.
  4. Bomb east for the short boss route, or go south, defeat three Darknuts, continue east, clear the Keese and Zols, then go north.

Boss: Manhandla’s fireballs cannot be blocked, and it speeds up as heads fall. Sword attacks work; a well-placed bomb can remove several heads. Take the Heart Container and third fragment.

Level 4 · The Snake

Optional heart: from start, right 8 and up 4 to the Raft dock. From the return dock: left 1, up 1, left 6, down 3, left 3; take the island dock.

  1. Go west, defeat eight Keese for a key, return east and go north, then unlock east. Light the dark room, navigate to the Compass, return west, and continue north.
  2. Collect two keys while continuing west and north. At the water-blocked room unlock east, clear the Vires, ignore the unnecessary north door, and continue east. Defeat the Like-Likes and Zols, push the left block, descend, and take the Stepladder.
  3. Backtrack two rooms west and cross the water. Unlock the door, avoid the Vires, go east for the Dungeon Map. Bomb north for the supported Rupee-room shortcut, or return west and continue north through Manhandla.
  4. After the Old Man, unlock east, light the dark room and collect its key, continue past the Blade Traps, go south, clear the Vires, push the left block, and enter east.

Boss: keep moving around Gleeok’s unblockable fireballs and strike its heads. Severed heads remain active until the last attached head falls. Take the Heart Container and fourth fragment.
