1 · The Beginning

Prerequisite

Start a new game.

Objective

Complete Kame House, prepare at Goku's home, return the Pterodactyl egg, and rescue the stranded old man.

Preparation

Reach level 6 before leaving Goku's home.

Numbered route

1. At Kame House, speak with everyone, then collect all three magazines: one on the island's right edge, one at the northwest edge, and one inside the house. Return the set to Master Roshi.
2. After Raditz leaves with Gohan, travel to Goku's home and speak with Chi-Chi behind the house.
3. Fight snakes, squirrels, crabs, and wolves around the house. Use Ki Blast to check tall grass for healing items and flight charges; continue until about level 6.
4. Enter the forest to the northwest and speak to the mother Pterodactyl by the empty nest.
5. Descend the stairs, take the left route, climb past the wolves, and continue toward Tien and Chiaotzu. Speak to both for their experience rewards.
6. Continue right to the waterfall, fly across, take the nearby green flight charge if needed, climb the steps, and collect the stolen egg. Return it to the mother.
7. Collect three stones: one on the return route near the fighters, one through the trees left of the nest, and one farther left among the trees.
8. Take all three stones to the tent south of the wolves and place them in the water to make a crossing for the old man.
9. Continue south. The dinosaur fight is optional; lure it toward the river and attack from across the water if you want its large experience reward. Exit left afterward.
