Defeat the two Saiyan bosses without letting scenery trap Goku.

Mission brief

Part 5 of 8
Prerequisite
Reach the Saiyan battle grounds after crossing the military base.
Objective
Defeat Nappa and Vegeta.
Preparation
Save before speaking to Nappa; carry healing and enter with full HP and Ki.

Numbered route

  1. Move left and north, speak with Krillin and Gohan, then save before starting the boss sequence.
  2. Speak to Nappa. Keep him in open ground, away from posts, rocks, and allies that can trap Goku.
  3. Use Solar Flare for one safe melee strike, or stun and spend the remaining Ki on a charged Kamehameha. Retreat while Ki returns.
  4. After Nappa falls, save again and restore HP and Ki before approaching Vegeta.
  5. Against Vegeta, preserve open space. When he charges a Ki attack, move to his side, charge Kamehameha, and fire during his commitment.
  6. Continue the stun, strike, and disengage rhythm through Vegeta's dialogue break until the fight ends.
  7. Watch the Great Ape sequence and the departure for Namek; the next playable section begins after Goku lands there.

  • A single save before the two-boss sequence protects the run from a long replay.
  • Do not fight beside the wooden posts; collision can cancel your escape path.
