Prerequisite

Defeat Raditz.

Objective

Traverse Snake Way and the afterlife, complete its quests, and finish King Kai's training.

Preparation

Carry healing and conserve flight charges on the first Snake Way crossing.

Numbered route

1. Speak to King Yemma and Kami, then leave to the right and begin following Snake Way.
2. When Princess Snake appears, accept the optional battle for 3,500 EXP. Solar Flare creates safe melee openings.
3. After the fall into the underworld, head toward the fitness center and speak with the attendant on its left to start the lost-spirit quest.
4. Return to the first fork, take the left road, go up at the next split, and fly to the upper ledge for Spirit 1. Deliver it before collecting another.
5. Find Spirit 2 by entering the lower-right path near the red demon, following it east, then turning north. Return it to the attendant.
6. Find Spirit 3 in the upper-right portion of the map and return it. Each spirit must be carried separately.
7. Speak with the red demon, reach the blue demon by the tree, and eat King Yemma's fruit to escape.
8. Follow Snake Way again. Use the more plentiful flight charges to cross gaps, then fly leftward from the end to King Kai's planet.
9. Speak to King Kai, catch Bubbles with A, then catch and strike Gregory with the mallet. Flight helps close the distance.
10. Finish the training conversation to learn Kamehameha and trigger Goku's return to life.
